God Loves

The idea for God Loves Collection was born back home in Memphis.

One weekend while visiting family, I turned on the news and watched story after story about violence, death, and loss in the city. A young girl had just graduated and was killed. Multiple homicides happened within the same weekend. It felt heavy. Hopeless almost.

Later that weekend, I visited my parents’ church, Hope Church. During service, the church stopped to pray over the city. They prayed over the violence, the pain, the fear, and the brokenness in Memphis.

But one statement stuck with me deeply:

“God still loves Memphis.”

That moment changed something in me.

Because despite everything happening… despite the darkness… despite what the news said every single day… God had not abandoned the city.

And honestly, neither had I.

At the same time, God was doing work in my own life too.

There was a season where I felt lost spiritually. I was battling hopelessness, questioning everything, and struggling to understand what I even believed anymore. Life felt dark. But through community, love, and people genuinely showing up for me, I was encouraged to open my Bible again.

And when I did, God revealed Himself to me fully.

Not through perfection.
Not through pretending.
But through love, grace, people, and hope.

That experience changed my life forever.

I realized there are so many people carrying silent pain. So many people fighting battles nobody sees. So many people are wondering if life is even worth continuing sometimes.

And I wanted to create something that could speak directly to them.

Something bold.
Something emotional.
Something honest.
Something that reminds people they are still loved.

That’s how God Loves Collection was born.

Not from fashion alone.
But from prayer, pain, hope, community, and faith.
